Type, Terms, and Amount
Enter the text that you would like in the Type, Terms, and Amount fields. Normally, you will leave this blank since many customers are not required to have these fields filled in.
Type
If you are required to enter a T- Keyword or an Inquiry/Loan Type, you can enter it here. Each time you add a new inquiry for this Department, the text you entered will automatically be entered into the new inquiry.
You can click on the Add Button to add additional types as necessary. You may also edit any Types in the list. You may want to consult your Credit Bureau Representative for more information on using the Type, Terms & Amount Fields.
These Loan Types are used department-wide. Any changes made to the Loan Types will be seen in each Bureau Department used in Easy Access.
Terms
In the Terms field, you can specify the terms of the account. This should be formatted by months.
Experian Users:
The format for the terms field is based on which Loan Type you have selected.
Enter a 10 for revolving or a 01 for monthly terms for the following Loan Types:
07 Revolving Charge Account
15 Check Credit or Line of Credit
18 Credit Card – Terms REV
47 Home Equity Line Of Credit – Revolving Terms
For all other Loan Types, enter the number of months.
Amount
The amount is entered in Whole Dollar amounts. Easy Access will make any conversions conform to the format required by Experian.
Adding and Editing
Easy Access ships with the most commonly used Loan Types for each credit bureau. There might come a time, though, when you need to add an additional Loan Type or change an existing Loan Type. You can Add / Edit Loan Types in the Bureau Default section of the Setup.
Just click on the Add button to add a new type or the Edit button to edit an existing type. You will be prompted for a Description and the unique Loan Type you want to enter. The Loan Type must be a valid Bureau Loan Type or T- Keyword. The Description can be anything that describes the Loan Type you are entering.
Descriptions are entered for reference only and appear in the Loan Type List.
Description
This is a description of the Loan Type you are adding or editing. This can be any text of up to 60 characters. Easy Access will display this description in the Loan Type list.
