An Inquiry Shortcut is a special button that is visible only in theĀ Navigator Bar. When this button is clicked, it will open up an Inquiry that has been set up with special product settings. Basically, an Inquiry Shortcut will open a blank Inquiry Entry Form that has specific bureaus, products, add-ons, and risk models already selected. It makes it easy to organize all of your inquiry types without the need for creating separate departments.
Creating an Inquiry Shortcut
To create an Inquiry Shortcut, open up a new inquiry. Select the Products, add-ons, risk models, and bureau(s) you wish to send the inquiry to. Click on the Edit menu and choose Add Inquiry Shortcut. A New Shortcut icon will appear in the Navigator Bar. Right-click on the New Shortcut icon and choose Rename Shortcut. Edit the name to reflect the purpose of the shortcut. You can also right-click and Remove the Shortcut to delete the shortcut from the Navigator Bar.
