Printer Problems

My printouts are hard to read since the font is so small.
Adjust the size of the font being used for your printouts. Change the font that you are currently using in the Printing tab at the bottom half of the Preferences screen of the ‘Setup Options’ screen. Open the Report Print Options menu and select Credit Reports. Click on Report Font and say Yes to ‘Show fixed pitch fonts only.’ Select another font.

When I print to my DOT Matrix printer, it prints slowly.
Dot-matrix printers will print fastest when they can use built-in fonts. These are usually listed as CPI fonts. Go to Setup Options. Click on the Printing tab at the bottom half of the Preferences screen. Open the Report Print Options menu and select Credit Reports. Click on Report Font and say Yes to ‘Show fixed pitch fonts only.’ Choose a font with CPI in the description. If no CPI fonts are listed, contact the manufacturer of your printer for information on installing CPI fonts.

My credit reports are not printing at all.
Check to see if you have the ‘Print incoming reports automatically’ selected in the ‘General/Printing’ section of the ‘Setup Options.’

Check to see if you have the correct printer assigned to Easy Access in the ‘General/Printing’ section of the ‘Setup Options.’

Some printers will not print fonts if the font does not reside on the system. This is especially true with HP4 Laser printers. Change the font that you are currently using in the General/Printing section. Open the Report Print Options menu and select Credit Reports. Click on Report Font and say Yes to ‘Show fixed pitch fonts only.’ Select another font.
