Instant Update allows subscribers to quickly report serious derogatory information such as charge-offs, foreclosures, skips, collections accounts, etc. to the Experian database at no charge within 3 to 5 minutes.
Subscribers can also add their company name, phone number, and contact name to a consumer’s Credit Profile report for whom the seriously derogatory information is being reported via the Instant Update option called Subscriber Alert Messages. This allows other credit grantors to contact them if they have questions about the consumer. The message appears at the bottom of the credit report along with other consumer statements.
If you receive the error “Original Creditor Required” then you will need to supply an End User when sending an Instant Update. You can create a default End User in the Bureau Setup or you can customize your Inquiry Entry Form to show this data field.
Additional fields will appear on the Inquiry Entry Form when you select this product.
