HTTP Server

note The HTTP Server is available as an Enterprise and Architect feature only.

Activate the Server
Check this box to activate the Easy Access HTTP Server. When activated, Easy Access will listen to the selected port for properly formatted standard HTTP POST and GET requests.

Port
This is the port you want Easy Access to listen to. By default, Easy Access will listen to port 9088. Easy Access will only be able to listen to incoming requests on the port selected.

Treat POSTs like GETs
While Easy Access will accept both POSTs and GETs it handles them differently. When sending a GET, Easy Access will return the report requested. When sending a POST, Easy Access will only send back the record number of the new Inquiry not the report itself. POSTs are normally used when sending batches of reports to Easy Access. If you would like to get the report back, and you have to send a POST rather than a GET, then select this option to automatically have the report returned rather than the record number.

Mapping
The HTTP server accepts a list of predefined fieldnames for use with the name=value pairs. Click on the Mapping button if you need to change the name of an import field. Experian Custom Strategist and CU Decision Expert users can use these fields to build a name that contains multiple data elements and string them together with slash separators.

Only allow access to these IP address’s
You can limit which IP addresses to accept Inquires from. If this field is left blank, Easy Access will accept all requests.

If you require a password to start Easy Access, then a password will be required with your InquiryString (See InquiryString for more information on correct formatting).

If filled in, Easy Access will only accept Inquiries from these IP address. Optionally, if only the first part of an IP address is entered then Easy Access will accept requests only from any IP address that have matching first parts.
