Pwd Experation

Experian Access Control System will expire Net Connect User Passwords every 90 days causing a HTTP 302 or HTTP 303 error. This error may also occur for a number of security reasons. In either case, follow the instructions below.

Easy Access will track the number of days since the administrator last changed the Net Connect User Password. On the 75th day, Easy Access will begin to remind the administrator that failure to change this will result in an interruption of service. The message will continue to be displayed until the Net Connect User Password is changed in the Default Department.

Follow these steps to change your Net Connect Password in Easy Access for Net Connect:

  1. Go to File > Setup Options > Bureau Setup and click into the Net Connect Pword field.
  2. Click on the ellipses next to your Net Connect Password. This will launch your browser and bring up the Member Change Password web page.
NOTE: If you get an error on Experian’s website saying “page not found”, you will have to manually browse to their site to change your password at https://experian-nab.okta.com/signin/forgot-password
  3. Enter your Net Connect User ID and current password (your current password is what you have entered in the Experian setup / Your UserID is the Net Connect UserID displayed in the setup). Then create a new password that is 8-32 characters long and includes at least, one number. Click Enter and make sure that the system has accepted your changes.
  4. Enter this new password into Easy Access.

NOTE: Most people create a password that ends with a two-digit number, like 01.  Then each time they have to change their password, they just increment the number to 02, then 03, 04.
