Available Fields

Below is a brief description of the Available Fields list. Add these to your Selected Fields list to create your own custom Inquiry Entry Forms.

Reference / End-User

End-User
If you are running this inquiry for another company, make sure to enter their name in this field.

Reference and Reference 2
These fields can be used for any information that you would like associated with each inquiry. The Reference Fields will appear in the Inquiries Sent Reports and can appear in Credit Report Headers if you choose to insert them as merge fields. You will also be able to filter your Reports on these fields.

Easy Access remembers the last 25 items that you have entered into these fields. If you use the same reference over and over (like Declined or Accepted), you can choose it from the list of items you have entered before. Otherwise, just type in the reference you would like associated with this inquiry.

note The data in the Reference field is sent to TransUnion when the TU products Acquire or Fraud Detect are requested. In addition, both Reference and Reference 2 will be sent to Experian when using CU/Credit Decision Expert and Custom Strategist if they contain data. Reference 2 can also optionally be sent to Experian when selecting the Instant Prescreen product.

Identification

Principle and/or Spouse

You can include the following fields: Full Name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name, Generation), SSN, Birth Date, Age, Phone, and Drivers License.

If you use just the Full Name field, start typing the applicant’s name – Jon Q Consumer – for example. Easy Access will populate the First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Generation fields when you move to the next field.

By double-clicking on the Full Name field on the Inquiry Entry Form, you can verify that Easy Access is doing this correctly and, if necessary, make any changes.

Current, Previous, and 2nd Previous Addresses

You can include the following fields: Street, Zip, City, State, and Date at Residence.

You can enter the full street address in one field. If you want to see how Easy Access is looking at your address, double-click on the Current Street Address field to open a pop-up window showing how the Address Number, PO Box, Route, Direction, Street Name, Street Type, and Apartment Number are being recognized. You can make any necessary changes here.

The Zip Code Database automatically fills in the City and State information into the Inquiry Entry Form after you enter the Zip Code.

Employment

Principle Empl and/or Spouse Empl

Entering the employment information of the consumer is not required to retrieve a credit report, but it is highly recommended. You can include the following fields: Occupation, Employer, Street Address, Zip, City, State, Phone, Date Hired, and Income. Employment information of the spouse is not required to retrieve a joint credit report, but it is highly recommended.

Loan Info

Loan Type, Terms, Amount, and Account Number.

All three credit bureaus support these additional fields. They use these fields to show the reason you are inquiring on the consumer’s file (Permissible Purpose). Experian additionally uses it for some of their Products. Click the following link for a List of Loan Types, T- Keywords, and Permissible Purpose Codes.

The Terms field shows the number of months for the loan.

The Amount field shows the amount of the loan rounded to the nearest dollar.

The Account Number field is only used in the TransUnion or Multi-Bureau version of Easy Access. It is an optional field for the TransUnion Glance product. If you select Glance and do not have this field displayed on your form, Easy Access will warn you that this is a required field and place it on the form for you.

Other
