Beacon

Beacon is a unique on-line risk assessment scoring model that forecasts the future risk of a consumer’s accounts going “bad.” The model analyzes the information contained within the credit file and assigns a score based upon risk level.

The Beacon score is unique in that it changes with each update to the credit file. Each time a Beacon score is requested, Beacon will provide an accurate assessment of that file at that point in time. Beacon scores range from 363 to 830. The higher the Beacon score, the lower the risk associated with that account.

The Beacon score will be accompanied by up to four explanations reflecting the most significant characteristics contributing to the consumer’s risk of poor payment behavior.
