Database Settings

Save Credit Reports
It is highly recommended that you check this option. This will store your credit reports in the reports database on your computer’s hard drive for the number of days specified. Any reports older than the specified number of days will be deleted whenever you exit the software. If you want to keep the reports indefinitely, set this number to 999 and the reports will never be deleted.

If this option is selected and, for some reason, the credit report wasn’t sent to your printer, the report can still be printed out from the saved file in the Stored Reports window. Please see Viewing Stored Reports in the Inquiry List section for more information.

If this option is unchecked, you should have either the Print all incoming reports automatically option selected on the Printing section or Automatic Export selected. Otherwise, your credit report will not be saved nor printed out! One of the three options must be selected on the Standard Edition.

Auto Delete Inquiries
If selected, this option will delete the inquiries from the Inquiry List after the specified number of days have passed. Set this number to 999 and the inquiries will never be deleted.

Close Databases if Inactive
This option will close the databases after a period of inactivity. This can help prevent database corruption if you lose your network connectivity or your computer locks up or shuts down while Easy Access is sitting idle in the background.

The option is useful if you require a software timeout requiring a password after being idle for more than a set amount of time. If Password Protection is set up you will be prompted to enter your password once you try to re-open the database.

Viewer Font
This font is used to display your reports on-screen. Click on the Font button to choose the font name, style and size. Choose proportional (preferred for easier reading) or non-proportional fonts.
