This update now allows users to change to Experian’s new ‘DEMO’ site URL. Click here for information on how to change this URL.

On new Enterprise or Architect installations, the NT Service is now automatically installed but is not activated. You will need to still set it to automatically be activated within the Service Applet and of course set it to an administrator account.

New installations now recognize the Architect License ID’s.

Now allows Equifax customers to enter non alphanumeric characters in the subscriber number ‘-’ password field in the Bureau Setup. Thus the ‘@’ can now be entered.

No longer checks for program updates at program startup. This options will be added again later.

No longer shows Popup Messages since newer versions of Windows can’t display the old Helpfile. Another option will be created in later version to help new users use the program.

For years, Easy Access has been compressed to a smaller size (the EXE file or program file). This was originally done because it use to be shipped on 3 1/2 disks years ago. Since it now is being dowloaded or put on CD’s and our Installation compresses them anyhow we are no longer compressing the files. We feel since the file doesn’t have to be uncompressed each time it is used it may speed up the software.

6.4.0.3 BETA: Fixed the printing problem which would produce the word ‘ERROR!’ When trying to reprint a Stored report.

Fixed the Canadian Report issue where a user would receive an error when trying to pull a Canadian Report

6.4.0.2 BETA: Fix problem where Easy Access would assign the wrong URL for TU. Now it looks at the installed cert and assigns the correct URL depending on the cert installed.

In order to use the new TUNAII certificate in Easy Access, you need to make sure that you are using version 6.4.0.3 or above (The version number is displayed at the bottom left of Easy Access when have it running). The new version of Easy Access supports the TUNAI and TUNAII certificates.

NOTE: In order to install the TUNAII Certificate file in Easy Access, you will need to create the certificate on TransUnions website. Contact TransUnion for information on creating the certificate.

Here are the steps in upgrading Easy Access to support the new TUNA certificate.

Exit Easy Access Online if it is currently running.

Go to http://easyaccessonline.com/?page_id=233. This will take you to the License Management area of our website.

Enter your license ID.

From here you should be able to download the latest version of Easy Access Online (currently 6.40.0). If your support/update extension has expired you will have to contact Real Solutions at 530-725-8415 or by email at helpdesk@realsol.com. You will need 6.4.0.3 or above to use the new TUNAII certificate.

Once the software has been downloaded, run it or double click on the file.

It will ask you if you ‘want to update Easy Access’. Say ‘Yes’

This will bring you to the current version of Easy Access and allow you to use the new TransUnon digital certificate.

Once you have upgraded, start up Easy Access.

Click on File Menu -> Setup Options > Bureau Setup > TransUnion (if you are running the Multi Bureau version of Easy Access) and click on the ‘Install New Cert’ button. You will be prompted to choose the location of the new certificate. Once you choose it, you will be prompted to enter the password you created on TruansUnion’s website.

Once entered Easy Access will start to connect to TransUnion’s new website using your new certificate.

After completing the steps, if you are uncertain if you are indeed using the new TUNA2 certificate do this:

Click on the File Menu > Setup Options > Bureau Setup. If there is no longer a ‘Install New Cert’ button then indeed you are now using the new TUNA2 cert.

As of 5/11/2011, Easy Access 6.3.0.24 is now available for download. If you currently have support, you can update to the new version by visiting the License Management Area here on our site.

Experian’s RBP (Risk Based Pricing) use to only support Vantage Score. Now supports all Experian supported RBP scores.

If a Primary applicant’s DL number was missing and the Spouses DL number was included, it would cause an error. Fixed.

When running RBP, added Form Feed between the credit report and the RBP letter.

Added RBP for Experian and RBP for TU (Pro and up only if requesting Text). RBP can be defaulted by account for Equifax report. Contact Equifax to add RBP.

Added new email notification option when there is an import error.

Added new email notification option when there is a server error.

Added new email notification option when Net Connect password is getting ready to expire. This email will be sent every 24 hours until the password is changed.

Recompiled the easerv.ese. It was not sending User initials. The easyaccess.exe was but not the service. Fixed.

Disabled the F1 key for Help. Now, only the Help Button can be used, which will then call the Online Helpfile.

Added a new HTML Decode to the Connection Log to make the log easier to read.

Added Precise ID <DetailRequest> tag. Now always request Detail, not Summary.

Added support for Precise ID Type 11, Account Opening KIQ Score. So now Easy Access supports PIDType 1, 3 and 11.

Disabled the ‘Check for Updates’.

Added Demographic Phone to Experian Add-on’s

Experian’s segment 361 length is not what Experian says it is going to be. This causes parsing problems when pulling ARF reports. Now Easy Access calculates the segment length rather then relying on Experian’s length info.

Introducing Easy Access 6.3.0.0 now with a new member to the family, the Architect Edition. Released 6/30/2010.

Introducing a new Edition to the Easy Access Family: Architect Edition
* the Architect Edition offers companys a way to integrate their applications with Experian’s Precise ID product, allowing an interactive solution right from within their own software.

Added support for Experian’s Demographic Phone add-on.

Added TransUnion’s ‘ARM Alert’ Add-on.

Added TransUnion’s ‘Auto Summary’ Add-on.

Added support for Experian’s STAGG Select variables.
NOTE: This product is only available in ARF or XML. Text reports and BOTH reports are not available with this product. If you wish to have a TEXT STAGG Report, contact Real Solutions as we can create a custom output that will display a TEXT STAGG Report.

Created an Export Output that matches the output of SmartAlex / DMS software to make it easier for people to move to Easy Access from their program. The new Output Format can be selected from the ‘…’ button in the ‘Record Format’ in the Export Options. A new menu ‘Custom Output’ will appear that lets users insert this special format. This will only appear and only merge correctly in the Enterprise Edition of the software.

Misc bug fixes

Well, it was time. It has been years since we have used modems to pull reports from the credit bureaus. From 6.3.0.0, Easy Access no longer supports Modem Connections. In making these changes, a few things had to be removed from the software:
* Removed the ‘Terminal Icon’ and Menu options for Dialing up to the credit bureaus. If you were running an earlier version of Easy Access before upgrading to this version, the ‘Terminal Icon’ will still be displayed.
* Removed ‘Don’t hang up after sending’ and ‘Redial until connected options’.
* Updated online documentation to reflect the fact that Easy Access no longer supports modem.
* In the Bureau Setup, there still remains a Dialup Connection type. This has been left for backwards compatibility, but will be removed in future versions.

Added backwards support for TU40 FFR reports. Easy Access started using TU’s 4.1 specs in version 6.2.0.0, but there are some Enterprise Customers that hard coded for TU40 spec’s. Since there is no way to change the new behavior of Easy Access, we added a new INI File item, ‘TU41′. When TU41=1, it will request a TU41 FFR report. TU41=0, a TU40 FFR report will be requested.

Earlier versions use to uppercase the ‘Name to save file as’ when exporting reports. This is no longer done.

Earlier versions use to uppercase the ‘Record Format’ when exporting reports. This is no longer done.

When NT Service is being used, Easy Access now always sends ‘NT’ as the operator initials when sending to Experian.

Changed the hard coded TransUnion test site URL. While this could be manually changed in the INI file, now new installation will use the correct URL. Changed ‘https://wwwt.transunionnetaccess.com:3018′ to ‘https://test.transunionnetaccess.com:3018′.

Added a new Merge field that can be used in the ‘Record Format’ in the Export Options, {NOLF}. {NOLF} will strip any leading blank lines on the credit report. It will still return the report, but just with no additional blank lines on top. This only affects {report} merge field. The {report} mergefeild still needs to be included to be printed. Example: {NOLF}{report}

Fixed an import problem. If importing a file that doesn’t include a blank last line, and has quotes on the last field, the quote would be imported. Now strips any quote that might be included in any field.

Removed Online Registration option

If reinstalling the software (not updating), the installation will now require a valid License ID. Trial download requires a valid trial download password.

The Enterprise Edition of Easy Access makes it easy to create a powerful ‘Credit Engine’ for your company. With its built in HTTP Server, automatic importing and exporting and its COM interface, Easy Access can easily handle the largest of customers.

But lately, we have been overwhelmed by the amount of customers looking to get rid of their current ‘Pay as you Go’ Integration partners. While we won’t mention any names here, these applications import the customers inquiries and then export out the report in a specific format so the customers application can pick them up and process them. Easy Access can easily be customized to mimic these other applications. And since we don’t add any cost to the customers credit report (we give you a direct connection to the credit bureau), our customers are saving a ton of money. Normally, they are looking for the following:

Access to the credit bureau over their existing Internet Connection

Integration with their application just like they are currently integrating with other 3rd party applications.

No additional charges per pull like many ‘Pay as you Go’ software integrators out there.

Once you have a license of Easy Access, the only monthly bill you get will come from your credit bureau.

This page is dedicated to those customers who are looking to save money by NOT paying a ‘Per Report’ charge, over and above the standard credit bureau charge. While each situation is different, these instructions should at least point you in the right direction to ‘Plugging In’ Easy Access into your current integration scheme. These instructions also assume that you are currently having inquiries imported (file based import) into another application and that application then exports the credit bureaus report.

If you haven’t yet, install Easy Access. A 21 day trial version is available here for download. It will give you plenty of time to build and your integration with your application. Follow the Setup Wizard to complete setting up Easy Access. Once setup, click on the Edit Menu > Insert Test File and pick a test file to send to the credit bureau. This will let you know everything is setup correctly before you start to work on the Integration portion of the setup.

Click on the File Menu > Setup Options > Bureau Setup. Verify that you have the correct ‘Output Type’ selected. Make sure it matches what you are used to seeing from your other 3rd party application. Also, if you are planning on pulling a report other than a standard credit report, click on the Defaults Button in the Bureau Setup and click on the Products Button. This will show you all the reports available for your selected bureau. Choose the report you wish to receive.

Click OK, OK, OK… until you are out of the Setup Options. This will save what you have done so far.

Now that you have the software installed and setup for the type of report you wish to pull, it is time to setup your Importing and Exporting.
